Frequently Asked Questions:

Who is the 2025 Camp Palestine for?

Camp Palestine is for families with youth ages 7-18. Unfortunately, children under 7 cannot attend. The 3-day program is filled with hands-on, meaningful experiences that connects young people with their Palestinian culture, history, and identity.

Can I drop off my kids at camp and pick them up later?

Camp Palestine is a family camp, which means a parent or legal guardian must attend with their children. This is not a drop-off camp. We designed it to create shared experiences, build community, and foster learning together. Every child must be accompanied by an adult throughout the camp.

What are the camp dates and where is it located?

The camp is a 3-day overnight experience, July 3-5 in the San Bernandino. The exact location will be shared with registered participants after payment is confirmed to ensure privacy.

 How much does it cost?

💸 Early Registration (until June 5): $175

💸 Regular Registration (6/ 6-6/23): $200

🍽️ All meals and snacks

🏕️ Cabin lodging (shared)

🎨 Workshops, storytelling, Dabke, arts, and nature activities

What are the sleeping arrangements like?

Campers will stay in cabin lodging with bunk beds that fits 6–8 people per cabin, with shared bathrooms. Sleeping areas will be divided by gender to ensure comfort and privacy. While the space is shared with other families., we are committed to making it as respectful and private as possible.. If you have specific needs or preferences, reach out to us at sawasocal@gmail.com — we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

 What should we bring?

A packing list will be sent closer to camp, but you’ll definitely need to bring your own bedding (sleeping bag, pillow, etc.).
